Northampton
University (was University College, Northampton)
is about 100 kms North of London. If you use www.multimap.com
and key in postcode NN2 7AL, you will be able
to see the area of the site, and zoom out to 100000
to see the M1 motorway (autoroute, autostrada,
freeway). It takes about 20 minutes from the motorway
to the site.

Frequency
Control - Spectators
At
3D Masters we endeavour to provide flying entertainment
for the entire weekend, with one site for daytime
and another for evening flying. In order to keep
things safe therefore, the entire site is subject
to frequency control for the whole weekend, so
please do not bring along your own aircraft and
expect to be able to fly it - we simply do not
have the resources to allow this, sorry.
It is also illegal under Northampton District
Council byelaws to operate any model aircraft
anywhere other than at a designated site.
International
Flights
Northampton is located in the Midlands, which
is well served by International Airports. The
nearest are Birmingham (40 minutes). Luton (40
Minutes), East Midlands (40 Minutes).
Heathrow and Stansted are about 90 minutes, but
this time is often affected by traffic. Manchester
and Gatwick are both about 120 minutes.

Sunday including full English breakfast. Download

you do not want to stay on site, there are a large
number of other hotels and bed-and -breakfast
establishments in the area although these fill

Unfortunately
RVs, Camping and Caravanning are not allowed on
the site, but Billing Aquadrome has facilities
and is within 5 miles of UCN.

DIRECTIONS
There are two University of Northampton
Campuses, both are to the north of Northampton
Town centre just off the A508 road to Market Harborough.
3D Masters is on Park Campus, which is
three miles (5km) from the town centre off Boughton
Green Road.
SPEED

many, many Speed Cameras, Fixed, Mobile and Time/Distance

M1/M6 join the A14 east bound, from the A1 join
the A14 westbound
Leave the A14 at junction 2, signed A508 Market
Harborough and Northampton, and follow the signs
to Northampton. After about 8 miles you will enter
Northampton, at the first set of traffic lights
turn left into Holly Lodge Drive and follow the
signs for Park Campus.
